It has been a painful time for all of us that loved Matthew - and all that joined us in our prayers for Matthew. I want to thank everyone who offered up their love and support and prayers for Matthew and his family - especially those that didnt know the family and sent their love and prayers - made room in their heart for him and his family. There is nothing more horrific than losing a child. In difficult times I have always turned to this prayer. I offer it now for whoever needs it. Please keep praying for Matthews family, especially his parents Ann and Bill, who have a level of courage and strength I pray that none of us will never need. God, make me brave for life: oh, braver than this. Let me straighten after pain, as a tree straightens after the rain, Shining and lovely again. God, make me brave for life; much braver than this.
