It has been a while since I posted anything. It has been a very rough couple of weeks. We have had some good days and some bad days. I am still having tummy problems. I can see that mommy and daddy get very worried about my poops. When I do have a good poop mommy does her happy dance and I have to walk away because she starts taking pictures again, one of my poop and one of me. Thank goodness all of my greyhound friends are in Georgia. I am going to have to sit her down and have a little talk with her... We did have a playdate with Chloe and Spike last week. It was lots and lots of fun. We went to K9 America and I got to run and run and run. Chloe liked to run with me as did Spike but he got tired real fast and couldnt keep up with us. We were having so much fun when it was just the three of us. Richard L (Spike & Chloes daddy) would use this long stick to throw a nice green tennis ball. Chloe and I would run really fast to catch it sometimes I would win sometimes she would win. I dont understand it every time we ran and got the ball Mommy would laugh and say ok now bring back the ball. If they wanted the ball why did Richard throw it??? Mommy would end up going to pick it up and bring it back to Richard who would throw it again. One time Chloe ran really really fast and grabbed the ball and then kept running...that made mommy have to walk all of the way across the park to get it. I think that is why the game stopped. We had lots of fun until these other DOGs came to play in the park. Chloe ran right over to them to introduce herself and then the puppy ran up and jumped on my face. I didnt like it but I didnt bite him. Then the other dog came over and started to bow and asked Chloe and I to play with him. Spike was over kissing (or smelling) butt with Mommy, daddy, and Richard and didnt want to play with us. Chloe started to run and I chased after her and then the other dog decided to run too but he wasnt very fast - we left him in our dust. We got tired of him trying to chase us and we went over to talk to him. For some reason Mommy didnt like the way we were talking to him so she got very angry at me. Right after that Mommy said it was time to go home because I kept coughing. That was a very good day. This past weekend was not such a good day. I dont know what happened to me but both mommy and daddy had those funny lines on their face every time they looked at me. I have been having lots of bad racing dreams and when I wake up I get scared about all of the noises in the house. Mommy told me not to worry that there are just a couple of ghosts that come out and play and night. She said that she wished that they would clean the house once in a while because they seem to have lots of energy. One night I woke up and they were making so much noise that I went out into the hallway and started to have a conversation with them to HUSH. Mommy woke up and told daddy that Bryndel is growling and barking in the hallway. I was only having a conversation with them but mommy said I was using bad words. She and I went into the livingroom to tell those ghosts to go to bed or to clean the house. Suddenly I saw one of the big ghosts...he was very handsome and he was stuck in the TV...thank goodness that the TV was off. To be honest I have seen that ghost before. He was also in the fireplace. I think that I saw him in the long big shiny think on the door in the office. Mommy told me not to be afraid but he really started to get on my last nerve because every time I turned around he was there...he might be cute but there is only so much food and toys and I dont like to share. Mommy took me back to bed and laid down with me for a little while until I fell asleep. On Sunday mommy made a lamb roast for her and daddy. That made my nose get all wiggly and I kept putting my nose in the air. The weather was really nice so mommy decided to clean her plants that she has in my house. She took them on to the upstairs deck and sprayed them...that smell made me feel really funny. Mommy told daddy that it was just eucalyptus and was safe for dogs and children. I dont know what e-u-c-a-l-y-p-t-u-s is but it made me feel really yucky!!! Mommy asked daddy to take me downstairs to go outside. When I got outside I started to walk around the patio in circles. When I got back into the house everything started to scare me and I was very very nervous. Mommy and daddy were very worried...I know this because they got those very bad lines on their face again... On Monday mommy and daddy took me to the doctors because I had a really bad night - the ghosts were really going crazy all night long and we just could not sleep. The really pretty doctor Lori told me that I was very handsome and told mommy and daddy that I did not have Pannus and that I was not losing my sight. The lines on their face went away. She must be a magician. She told them that I had a panic attack that it could be because of the smell of the lamb cooking or the Eucalyptus spray that gave me PTSD. I dont know what that is but I dont want it to happen again. Mommy threw away all of the house plants and said no more plants in the house. She also told daddy that she will probably never make lamb again. He told her that probably wasnt necessary because it was most likely the Euc that caused the panic attack but as you probably already have guessed my mommy is a bit crazy. That isnt a bad thing because she loves me very very very much and she tells me over and over and over again. To make her feel good I lick her face once in a while. Not too often because I want each one to be very special. She gives lots of kisses and they are special but some times just too many. Yesterday was mommys birthday and she was very happy because I had a good night and the ghosts didnt bother us. We started the day off opening presents. I bought her some really pretty greyhound earrings. Daddy and I surfed the web and found them in the Netherlands. I dont have a credit card so daddy paid for them - I gave him a kiss and he told me that they would be from me because I paid for them with a kiss. Daddy bought mommy a Greyhound t-shirt and a greyhound long sleeve shirt and greyhound jammies...she was so excited. Next daddy and I took mommy to her MD appointment, then we went to the grocery store. After that we came home and did some things in the yard and then went to the dump. I like the dump - some very interesting smells. They we went to Mines Falls for a very long walk. When we finished mommy and daddy did a tick inspection. YUP there was one of those little buggers on me...YUCK!!!!! Mommy said that it wasnt attached but still YUCK!!!! It was so funny because mommy and daddy started squirmy all around and saying that they were itchy too. I giggled a little bit. After our walk daddy said he had a surprised and we went to a place where there were lots of trees...not in the ground. They were just laying on some boards. Daddy picked out a really pretty one and we brought it home. Right now it is outside on our patio and daddy said we are going to bring it into the livingroom. I dont understand - mommy said no more plants. Isnt a tree a plant??? Then daddy told me that I can not pee on it??? I thought that they were getting me an indoor potty because it is gonna snow today. Oh well. I am not sure what snow is but daddy says we have to gear up and mommy was excited because my new coat just arrived on Monday. Well I am getting tired and mommy said that we have to go to Kohls. They wont let me in Kohls but that is ok - I can stay in the car for a few minutes. Maybe we can go over to Home Depot ot Lowes...they let me go into those stores. I have lots of stores that I can play in: Tractor Supply Store, Home Depot, Lowes, Pet Smart, Petco...so many shopping places. Talk at you more later!!! p.s. Mommy said I need to say what I am Thankful for because the Thanking Holiday is coming up...I am very thankful for Second Chance Greyhound, Amy my Inmate, Tam, Shae (and Zoe and Caleb), and most especially my forever mommy and daddy...oh yes and there is Auntie Debbie, Auntie Ginger, Uncle Bobby, Auntie Ruth, Auntie Cora, Uncle Bob, and my four legged cousins too...I love all of them!!!
