It has been nearly 5 months since the accident that changed our lives forever. Tonight, I am calling for special prayers for my family as they journey again to Little Rock. They are all growing weary (each in unique ways) and again, as much as before, need to be lifted up in prayer. There have been a few set backs physically and emotionally for my brother. This prompted my brothers appointments this week. He makes not 1 journey but 2, which is extremely tough for him., and my whole family. Pray for safety as they travel, energy, courage, patience and peace. Pray for God to meet their financial needs as they take these trips. I never give up hope for my brother. He has suffered a traumatic brain injury and we were told from the very beginning that once he fought through survival the healing would be a long journey. It is proving as such. God will overcome, but join me in continuing to lift up my miracle baby brother and our family in prayer. When I visted in August, my mom had post-it notes all around the house with simple reminders of activities of daily living, since my brother had some short term memory loss. Post-its such as, turn water off, Brush teeth, Shut door. Then in a special spot, I saw a particularly awesome one that stopped me in my tracks. It reminded my brother to Say I love you ...and so tonight I am saying I love you to my special brother and family in Arkansas. And, wanted to remind each of you following Alberts journey to do the same for those who are dear to you. Such a simple note meant for someone following a disabling accident, but yet an inspiring reminder to every one of us. You never know how much can change in a split second, and it can, so...Say, I love you I love you Trudy, and the rest of my family down there. Though time has gone by since the accident, so many prayers are still needed. Thank you all for your friendship, prayers and love.
