From waking up to a text message from my dear friend, breakfast with my older one Matthew, lunch with my fabulous and charming co-worker, all the FB messages from great friends scattered all across America, getting an old-fashioned birthday card in the mail from my very dear friend in Michigan, a phone call from my younger one Marcos at college, as well as from my sister in Racine and my good friends Craig and Amy in Port Huron MI, dinner at one of my favorite restaurants, and now a night cap of Canadian Mist and sour.
