It has been said... The oldest manuscripts we have were written down hundreds of years after the last apostle died. I wont agree to that. We have both the Codex Sinaiticus, and the Codex Vaticanus, which were written in the early 300s. Papyrus 66 is a nearly complete John. It dates to around 200AD. There are bits of John 18 which dates around 120AD. The Sackler Library in Oxford has bits of Matthew and John which dates to around 150AD. I know there are parts of Titus, Luke, John, Revelation, and Matthew scattered from Museums in Manchester, Oxford, Cairo, Vatican City, and Paris. Not to mention... I havent even touched upon everything within the Chester Beatty Library.
