It has been so amazing to watch my friend, Kelly, grow as a photographer. Over the past 3 years, I have been witness to Kellys progress. She has come such a long way in a very short time, and I am so incredibly proud of her. Not to mention she has put up with my diva demands, honors my often unusual requests, and has a talent for anticipating my needs before I am even aware of them! She has truly been an asset in growing my business, and I wouldnt be where I am today without her. For all of her hard work and dedication, I am forever grateful. Kelly has always been one of my best friends and partners in crime, but I have come to the conclusion that Kelly is no longer simply an assistant, but a valued colleague. Business is growing, and Kelly is capable of shooting her own weddings for my company. I have decided to add a new member to my photography team, to which she has dubbed Carlys Angels. For the past few months Kelly and I have been training Brittany with our typical sink or swim method by subjecting her to unfamiliar situations with equipment that is foreign to her, and she has exceeded our expectations despite formal guidance. As far as milestones go, Brittany really impressed me with her images from the shoot this past weekend, and I had to share a few! Im so excited to share my passion for photography with two of my best friends!
