It has come to my notice that some individuals have been circulating some of the above pictures on social media, in a desperate attempt to cast aspersions on my personality. It is clearly from disgruntled politicians who refuse to accept my emergence as the PDP Guber candidate for the 2015 elections. Without meaning to disappoint these politicians, I am actually proud of the pictures and the event which brought about the pictures. They are a constant reminder of the injustice dealt to me by the Alao Akala government when I stood up against bad governance, violence across Oyo state and corruption. If placed in the same position again, I would stand up and endure the same (if not worse fate). However, I wish to state that other than the death of the former NURTW Chairman, Eleweomo, which the Alao Akala government used to incaserate me without a shred of evidence and charge, there were other killings including those of innocent souls in Iwo Road and Olomi in 2010. At the time, the Chief Security Officer of the State was Alao Akala and he Chaired the States security council meeting. He himself said Teslim Folarin did not kill Eleweomo on national radio (splash fm). With such statement, the question for Alao Akala as the CHIEF SECURITY OFFICER of the State remains, who did kill Eleweomo? Who killed those innocent souls in Iwo Road? Who killed another NURTW officer called Bruno. Who killed those innocent citizens during the Olomi battle in 2010 Why was no one ever charged or prosecuted for these and many other killings under Akala? Can Oyo State afford another 4 years of killing, violence and brutality which was the trademark of the Akala govt? Oyo citizens would decide whether Alao Akala even has the morale right to stand again for election, with so many unresolved murders under his watch. I encourage my detractors to continue posting such pictures and serve as a reminder of the price I paid for daring to stand up against the government of the day, in the interest of Oyo state. I thank them for their efforts.
