It is SO windy this morning... I think the house is leaning over. The hay tarps are flapping. I hope the straps and grommets hold. I think I will wait to toss hay...it would get up in the air and go to Kansas. This is the strongest wind I think weve ever had. In a way its good because it is 40, and I am waiting for the ice to melt before bringing the new filly in. This should melt a lot of ice. I can barely stand waiting,... contract is signed, ernest money placed, and I am excited for miss personality, Guenevere, to arrive. It is unusual to find a PRE this way. She was basically being dumped on CL because of life circumstances, and she is just an hour and a half away. That isnt usually what happens, especially with a PRE. My Andy friends will understand this... I will need to research how to get a mare revised, and in a way I dont want to because I would have to shave her. Ack. Her mane and tail are GLORIOUS. Those dummies. Can you imagine having to shave the hair off a Vanner or a Friesian?? Our breed would take off if the hair genetics were seen for what they are and promoted rather than downplayed. Anyway, I know it would grow back...but it is tempting just to go with IALHA.
