It is a beautiful evening on the farm tonight. Not a cloud in the sky and no trace of a wind....Everything is still and it is surprisingly warm.....The Heavenare lit up with a myriad of shining stars.I can see the Southern Cross and so many other stars sparkling like diamonds from the darkness above.....Africa at its best !!.......How can one not love life when observing all these miracles of Nature that surround us every day.....all the more evident when on a farm like this, far removed from civilization.Being in a space like I am now, heightens ones senses to the world around us and allows us to marvel at Gods wisdom, so evident in all he created.....I have a beautiful Rose wine to go with my mood of wonder and a book of Plato where he philosophizes about life in general......what a great way to relax and enjoy the evening....It is funny how I need to motivate myself to come to the farm everytime these days, but when I am here, I have to motivate myself to go back to Vanderbijlpark.....It is difficult having almost two different lives, one in Vanderbijlpark and one here in Clocolan, on the farm, in the mountains bordering the Kingdom of Lesotho, the one life seemingly antagonizing the other, yet both are seemingly just as important to my existence......getting older and the distance separating them,is starting to become some sort of barrier towards the coexistence of these two lives.....This has become quite a concern for me recently.I feel that as I start slowing down, I will reach a stage, if I havent already, where I have to choose the one life over the other.....and I am dreading the day I will probably have to do this......Maybe Plato has an answer for me somewhere in this book......well goodnight everyone......whoever is lucky enough to fall asleep under a clear African sky like I will tonight....enjoy.....I know I will.........
