It is a dark day… Strongbow cider, my favorite beverage for many years, has been kicked to the curb by its producer and is being supplanted by New Strongbow Gold. I have tried it. It is overtly sweet, lacking in any complexity or merit beyond the sleek (and smaller) new packaging. There are plenty of jelly flavored ciders on the market. Why must they deep 6 the only dry one out there? When I complained on the Strongbow FB page, they suggested I try Gold over ice! Wankers… Who drinks cider over ice?!?!?
