It is a good thing to help an old person across the street. But first you need to qualify whether or not they want to cross the street. Otherwise its referred to as kidnapping and you could be making a big mistake in your own life. Make sure that the people you want to help, need help, indicate that they need help, are willing to receive help and are willing to help themselves in some way. I had to learn these things the hard way. It was early in my career as a counselor that I had to learn that folks have as much right to be sick as they do to get well. Today I will help those that are willing to help themselves.
