Well, its official. Allison and I closed on our house today! It was kind of underwhelming because we have lived here for 2.5 years already so there were no handing over of keys, or walking into a new home, etc. That being said, it also didnt include MOVING, Realtor fees, and home searching. All in all, a victory for the Talleys. We used Misty Edworthy Goins of Amcap Mortgage per the recommendation of a friend from work and I must say, she did an AMAZING job! She was so incredibly patient with us throughout the process given our delays due to home repairs by the seller, the birth of Cora, and quite a few other hiccups. If youre in the market for a home here in Houston, she is HIGHLY recommended by us. Additionally, during the closing Cora was throwing quite a fussyfit and Misty held her THE ENTIRE SIGNING (45 minutes)! Cora fell fast asleep in her arms, allowing us to finish without the stress of a crying 12 week old. Thank you so much Misty! We appreciate all you have done for us! Again, we cannot recommend her enough!
