It is after much contemplation and counsel that I have reached a painful decision this evening. I have served as Target Archery Champion for nearly a year and a half and the first one for two consecutive Pennsics. This weekend at Dragons Quest my intention was to host a tournament to choose a worthy successor, but Kingdom has requested my presence elsewhere on Saturday and I will be unable to run my tournament. Between Lord Gaelen and Forester Edward I believe it is in good hands. To the Baron and Baroness: there is a tradition that the archery champion adds one of his arrows at the end of his time. Following, in Forester Kenshins footsteps, I have placed an arrow with some personal significance tied to the Pennsic archery team. To the new archery champion: I will simply say that being a champion is both a privilege and a burden. Enjoy your time as champion as much as I have.
