It is always preferable to consume whole, organic, foods to obtain nutrients. However, many of us resort to supplements to fill the gaps for various reasons. To avoid the unpleasant aftertaste of supplements (there is nothing worse than a vitamin burp!) consider consuming supplements right before a meal rather than afterwards. Food on top of supplements seems to eliminate or at least minimize the classic vitamin burp.
