It is amazing how God puts people where you need them. I cried so hard going to the shelter I had to pull over once and just loose it. She was looking at me over the seat and was being so good. She trusted me and I was failing her. After doing the horrible deed, there was a kind volunteer in the parking lot. She was so sweet and even told me God has a plan for this dog. I was assured that the only dogs put down here were aggressive ones. What an improvement from the old shelter which was a death chamber! Then she went in to meet the dog and spend some time with her. What a blessing this lady was! I am still sad but now there is hope! The no-kill movement is reaching WV and I am not alone in trying to achieve it!
