It is amazing what you have to read about yourself when you are trying to help your community and fellow musicians. No good deed goes unpunished. I must say that after seeing the success of our 5th night and 5 venues being packed tonight and having live music where there was none before, make it all worthwhile. The musicians were all happy with their take and all are looking forward to doing it again. Music Matters. I have been called many things in my life, but charlatan is a new one. I would love to have a public discussion with Mr Kevin ODonnell someday, as it is clear to me that he has no idea who I am and what my motives are. We have made it clear on every occasion that our goal is to have the musicians be paid by the venues as well as making great tips. It is already happening as some of the venues are paying the talent already due to the fact that they have seen an increase in business that can only be attributed to the fact that they are hosting live entertainment. This has always been our vision and our goal. More venues to put more musicians to work. Just like our jams at The Ghetto Palace, we are not and will not ever monetize our involvement. In other word folks, we are spending money on this initiative that will never come back to us. Our only reward is getting to see great live music on Harrison Avenue. We are also not trying to be a booking agency, while we have recommended different artists to be featured, we are encouraging all of the venues to reach out and contact the musicians directly. Common Sense, Its Not That Common.
