It is common to receive a lot of grief when I tell people that I want to be a foot doctor, but becoming a foot and ankle specialist has always been my dream. To me, podiatry is the best kept secret in medicine and Im in disbelief that my dream is finally coming true. This past semester I interviewed at various podiatry schools in Des Moines, Chicago, Cleveland and Philadelphia, and it was a huge surprise to find out that I have been accepted, with extremely generous scholarship offers, to all four schools. This was the toughest decision of my life but I am beyond excited to announce that I have officially decided to attend the Kent State University College of Podiatric Medicine to pursue my doctorate degree as a foot and ankle specialist!!! Cleveland here I come!!!
