It is difficult not to get frustrated with my fellow pale US citizens when they act with the children from Central America like they did (some still do) with other children of color. They act from Fear. No, please dont tell me you are not acting from Fear, because in God/Sources great Cosmos there are only two prime emotions: Fear and Love. Hate is a subset of Fear; and add to that, unawareness of that which you fear/hate, and children - our children of the world - the ones who Jesus called to him, thereby calling us to make all children ours to love as well - and we set up the reality of horrible things continuing to happen to them. I truly believe that those politicians and newspeople and talking heads all work from the profit motive (greed is a bedfellow of hate), and too many people just believe. Jesus told us to be pay attention to what people say, and how and why they say it. You must read about the history of Central America; the lives of the everyday people there; the children tortured brutally (could you stand by while goons rub stones into your childs eyes and more?). The continuing fight and heart of the women (because many men are tortured and killed) who keep on keeping on because there is no other option... If you have any heart to know, start by reading, my Name is Rigoberta Manchu a book by an everyday indigenous woman from Guatemala (she received the Nobel Peace prize years ago, when it meant something.) If it does not make you cry, then be astounded by it, then your heart is in danger of atrophying. Then research the history of our role in this area; the 10,000 plus innocents slaughtered by Reagans Freedom Fighters/terrorists.... Read. Ponder. Pray. Then think about all our children. From the hundreds in Atlanta dying because of DFCS neglect and mismanagement to children being slaughtered by guns and anger (subset off fear) in Chicago to the children maimed and killed across the planet by war, disease, and corporate greed ... I say this often: We are ALL messengers one to the other. For so long our children/their collective spirits keep coming to this planet and giving us this message: HEAR US! LISTEN TO THE SOUNDS OF US DYING AS WE SAY STOP!!! ENOUGH!!! BE BRAVE ENOUGH TO BE PEACE - THE REAL REFLECTION OF THE PRINCE OF PEACE. xoxox
