It is difficult to find people who are willing to run for office, who are truly looking to help the people, while not giving up the values of God, family, and country. Eldean is just such a man. I have had the honor of knowing Eldean Kukahiko for over thirty years. Fifteen of those years, was with the Honolulu Police Department. Eldean was a member of the No Hope In Dope Program. With his support, we reached over five hundred thousand children, two hundred fifty thousand parents, teachers, police officers, and government leaders. While serving with NHID he became a minister, and took responsibility of a congregation of people, giving his love, commitment, and Aloha to them. The No Hope In Dope and Officer Honolulu Programs may not have been as successful if not for the commitment of Mr Kukahiko.
