It is done. A new transmitter is born this morning. High efficiency micro-particulate filtered cooling system, laser trimmed precision resistors, audiophile metal film capacitors, and the latest ultra-linear opamps, custom machined aluminum heat sink and copper heat spreader, coaxial directional coupler and digital metering of forward power, reflected power, baseplate temperature, and SWR. Self-protection circuits shut down on overtemperature and high SWR within 1/2 microseconds. This is by far the best sounding, most powerful broadcast transmitter I have built so far. Cant wait to try it out.
