It is essential for you to realize that you are never completely alone and that you are not without friends in this harsh world. Jesus, the living Christ, has promised to never leave nor forsake you. He offers you His friendship and all that He asks from you is to be obedient to His commandment of love. Secure in this knowledge, you have the assurance of His constant presence in your life. He has already heard your call of distress and answered your prayer. ( You know our deepest sorrow and hear our sighs. Help us, Lord, never to forget that You alone are our salvation and support.
