It is exactly 70 years this week since one of the darkest chapters in the history of human-kind finally came to an end. During the second World War the extermination camp at Auschwitz in Poland was one of the main sites where the Nazis led millions of Jews to their deaths. Those still alive when the camp was liberated in 1945 had no relatives to go back to. Entire families had been murdered and their property stolen by the Germans. Some of those left after the Holocaust came to England to rebuild their lives. Here is the first in a series of special reports by Rob Jaskowski:
