It is five weeks to go until the CEO Sleepout and the nights are getting colder. As we head home on an evening to our homes and loved ones there are over 100,000 people in Australia looking for a sheltered place out of the elements to spend the night, with the Australian Capital Territory having the second highest per capita level of homelessness in Australia. You can directly help these people through donating to the Vinnies CEO Sleepout which I will be undertaking on the night of 19 July. All money raised goes direct to Vinnies to assist in breaking personal cycles of poverty by helping people to learn to make better decisions through a range of education programs, recreation activities, and extensive information and referral services in a safe and supportive environment.
