It is going to be an awesome day for an epic bike ride. Dont forget, we are having a post-ride celebration at Backwoods Bistro starting at 3 PM. Brewmeister Joseph Petty will be tapping a special keg of goodness - the Urban Gorilla - just for the event for all of us to enjoy. Everyone in attendance will have a chance to win some schwag provided by our LBSs. Special thanks to the Great Bicycle Shop, HIgher Ground, Joes Bike Shop, and Sunshine Cycles for providing prizes. A few more 4-1-1s: (1) Arrive a few minutes before 0900 to allow for making last-minute bike prep and adjustments. (2) Dont forget to bring cash for lunch and park entrance ($2) for Maclay/Overstreet. (3) We are riding on open and public roads and trails. Please be courteous to other users. (4) The first few miles, especially the long downhill section of Park Avenue can get pretty dicey with a big group of riders, so stay alert. If you are new to group riding, allow yourself some room and be prepared for anything. (5) Be safe, enjoy the camaraderie and scenery and have fun. WE ARE URBAN GORILLA!!! :D
