It is hard to choose the pathway, it is the path chooses you. Shambala Buddhism is Tibetan. The people of Tibet suffered many ordeals and trials. Wisdom can be hidden anywhere, within clouds, mountains, the very rivers and creeks we swim and fish in and without our mysterious minds. Knowing very little about the way the novice sets out, he/she empties the mind in meditation, reads the sacred texts and remembers to follow the wisdom of the elders. My mistake in my younger years is not following the path that feels most for me. A warrior Buddhist is a warrior of the light, of peace, for the peaceful place is there, in our hearts if only we tune out the static that is preventing us from being enlightened. We do not gain or lose, nor we do we cling or push away, we just become, we become emptiness itself and with that we full fill all things, with the arrow of emptiness all doubts are removed.
