It is hard to resist Bear, a wonderful guy who needs some TLC. The shelter says pit bull terrier mix bear is 3 years old, but also refers to him as geriatric on their notes so we don’t know his actual age. What we do know is the ACC gave Bear the ultimate compliments of being an all-around nice guy behavior wise. They don’t throw words around like “bright, alert, responsive, and hydrated” on just any dog. Bear is a stray and must have wondered where in the world he was and did seem a bit tense upon intake. No biggie. Bear will need some vetting for several things that most likely can be taken care of easily. His skin, hair, ears, and eyes need a thorough examination and diagnosis and these concerns might easily be just wear and tear. Bear is 76 pounds of love—here is a boy to hug, squeeze, and love back to life! He will certainly repay you many times over. Unfortunately the ACC has Bear on the kill list for tomorrow. This is such a sad turn of events for this tan and white charmer. We must get Bear out of the ACC so he can start his life fresh in a new loving home he dreams of. Please advocate for Bear. He doesn’t deserve to die.
