It is important that we as aboveground activists have accurate information about those issues we struggle against. We need to be able to clearly give reasons why fossil fuels, including fracking, are a no win situation: both to dissuade an unknowledgeable public, and to publicly/vocally defend those who engage in semi-legal or fully underground tactics against the nodes of infrastructure. This includes when the findings are not quite as bad as we had thought. The following article details the inorganic and organic compounds found in the produced water from fracking. The study concluded that whilst the produced water was far too dangerous to enter drinking and ground water, the water was not quite as dangerous as that from other fossil fuel processes. We are not arguing for fracking. We are against industrial civilisation. But if any of our members or followers are out working on these issues, we/you need to be prepared to face people citing this research, and be ready to counter it... What counter arguments would you give? insideclimatenews.org/news/20140905/frackings-wastewater-poorly-understood-analyzed-first-timefrackings-wastewater-poorly-understood-analyzed-first-time
