It is my opinion that ones intent, even if it does not directly - TopicsExpress

It is my opinion that ones intent, even if it does not directly affect the immediate outcome of a particular situation is more important than choosing to remain ignorant or passive for the greater good of society. This especially pertains to the upcoming elections. Although politics is boring and politicians likely cause more fatality and immorality than the the drug traffickers and serial killers, there is still a fundamental duty for us to harken to. Im not putting all of the politicians in one basket, because there are a few that support liberty and freedom. Its also unreasonable to think that we can change the course of prophecy or alter Gods plan. However, taking the view of fatalism in which there is a no hope mentality is only furthering the problem. Its even safe to say that many of the politicians serving on the national and state level are selected rather than elected. We dont have control over that nor can we really do anything about it other than to start a grassroots spiritual movement at an individual level. The destruction taking place in America has nothing to do with corrupt politicians, terrorism, economic stupidity, or lack of jobs. These are just byproducts of pollution. The root of the problem stems from spiritual bankruptcy. Whenever a society or empire turns away from the Word, judgement is brought unto the people. From the lost city of Atlantis, Sodom and Gomorrah, the Roman Empire, and now the American Republic; history repeats itself. Entire populations are destroyed due to a lack of knowledge. For me to remain silent would be a breach in testifying for truth.
