It is my pleasure to announce that I have been asked to be the new pastor at New Pine Grove Church here in Homerville. The call came in this past Friday afternoon, but I wanted to tell my church family at Shiloh first because there were some who had asked me to apply for the position. As I told Shiloh this morning, I have been praying about applying for the pastor position(s) at Shiloh and New Pine Grove Churches. Each time I started to print my resume to turn it in at Shiloh, I had an uneasy feeling about it. And no, devil, it is not because there is any confusion at Shiloh. The Lord sends these things to you to get your attention for the direction HE needs and wants you to take. Although our heart is a bit sad to leave our church family of nearly 20 years, my family are SO excited to see what God has in store for us and New Pine Grove Church. Please keep us in your prayers in the days ahead. Also, please continue to keep Shiloh Church in your prayers as they pray for a new pastor. Brother Keith has been a blessing to many, many people in our community, not just the people of Shiloh.
