It is nice to have a day to reflect. Blessed with an insightful father and wonderful children, eddying up in a deep reflective pool. Like a big old wild salmon resting up after climbing falling water. The North River gorge has had a lasting mystical effect, and I am contented. You can feel the chill of the dripping slopes feeding the cataract. In the deep pool it has created, a silver flash and the salmon is airborne. Avoiding all the vortexes it lands in the falling water already swimming. With a burst of power unimaginable it is over the top into another deep pool. These amazing fish once populated all the rivers of western Europe and North America. To see such things as what becomes a part of you, is to know you cannot be you without them. When I hold this dear, you know I treasure you also.
