It is now the day after Christmas 2014 and I hope that the day did not disappoint but rather it brought you peace, happiness and hope for the upcoming year. It was and will always be my fondest wish that if I label you as friend, you all see fit to bestow the same title on me. So, friend as I have done numerous times in the past i have decided to once again make a New Years resolution. Last year I resolved that I would only partake in one small cup of coffee a day and for the majority of the following 365 days, I kept my word. This year I will do the same; I will keep ALL of my resolutions. This year its bigger than coffee. This year its all about me, more specifically, its all about me bettering myself cuz this Half-Life Im leading just aint cutting it anymore. I cant go into too much detail. God knows my friends already tease me about the novellas I post as it is. Just know that my plans entail laughing more, loving more and loving harder. It includes keeping an open mind and speaking up when no one else will. It includes re-igniting my passion for the written word and not leaving a single one- a single thought, opinion, argument- Unwritten. Most importantly it includes discipline, strength, faith and acceptance. I WILL ask for help when I need it, I will lend an ear if needed and a shoulder to lean on if asked. I will remember what it was like at 19, after work standing in the middle of an empty parking lot while rain and wind whipped around us....Fearless. Yes, I was quite fond of nineteen but the ironic part is I dont really miss it and Im actually fond of Thirty-five. Its a work in progress but hey! its me. Wish me luck. If anyone reading this feels likehey, thats exactly like how i feel well my good manners dictate that I should at least ask for your accompaniment however Im not gonna. My road is meant for only me but if and when you decide that theres just gotta be MORE, Ill be happy to hear from you..
