It is official !!! I am Co-leading a Yoga/Trekking retreat in India in July!!! & the Great news is that the kids are coming with me!!! :))) We will be gone the whole month of July & trekking through parts of the Himalayan mountains not far from Mt. Everest area! It really is a dream come true trip including 2 days with the Dalai Lama before we head out on our extensive Trek over 2 mountain passes! After explaining the camping to the kids, they went into the garage, got out the camping gear & proceeded to put up the tent almost all by themselves!!! I turned off the heat in the home early, & by bed time, it was 32 degrees in the living room! We could see our breath in the air! They even put up the therma-rest up & rolled out the sleeping bags! They are very excited about the upcoming training, camping & prepping we will be doing over the next 4 + months! We got on Skype with Jan Knaapen in India & he got to meet my kidos for the first time too! So we did a test run of putting it all up in the living room & all climbed into 1 big bag at bed time & giggled ourselves to pieces!!! snuggled, tickled & then I read to them the Great book of Jonathan Livingston Seagull until they fell asleep All of this was after our weekly visit to Aikido & the climbing wall!
