It is so easy for us to become discouraged isn’t it? We don’t intend too…but things just begin to pile up and we become overwhelmed. It seems like one attack after another comes upon us and we don’t even have time to rest or recuperate before we are set upon again. We all know where that comes from. The relentless and vicious attacks always come before Pesach and Sukkot. Those are times when we should be rejoicing and focusing on the incredible and awesome blessings that YHVH has given us. Every single person that He has called out is blessed, because He has opened our eyes to His Truth! We have to remember the blessings He has placed on us and how blessed we truly are to have His Name on us! No one can take away our relationship with Him…NO ONE! The way to overcome discouragement, is to remember and reflect on what YHVH has given to us. He reminds His People often, to remember when they were slaves in Egypt and how He brought them out with a Mighty Hand. He has called us out of this world where we were enslaved and brought us out with a Strong Hand. We have SO much to be thankful for…SO much to be grateful for…SO much to praise and adore Him for! I know it is difficult when the attacks come one after another. I know it is hard to endure, but we have not reached the finish line yet. I see a refining taking place like none I have ever seen before. We know it has to take place…those who are His have to be strengthened, tried, tested and prepared for what is ahead. Many are going to fall and the start of that fall is becoming discouraged. When you feel discouragement settling in, cling to Him even tighter! Seek Him, cry out to Him, search Him out. Surround yourself with others who have set themselves to go the distance and follow YHVH no matter what is placed in their path. Stay away from those who want to spend their time in petty arguments and guard yourselves against being pulled back into the world. Abba has called us out and set us apart to Him. He calls those whom He KNOWS have the potential to win the race and enter into His Kingdom. He calls those who overcome and persevere. Press on! Always, press on…eyes forward, never stopping or giving in. There is a place prepared for His People, but we have to be there to claim our place. Psalms 121:1-8 1 I lift up my eyes to the hills; Where does my help come from? 2 My help comes from יהוה, Maker of the heavens and earth. 3 He does not allow your foot to be moved; He who watches over you does not slumber. 4 See, He who is guarding Yisra’ĕl Neither slumbers nor sleeps. 5 יהוה is your guard; יהוה is your shade at your right hand. 6 The sun does not strike you by day, Nor the moon by night. 7 יהוה guards you from all evil; He guards your being. 8 יהוה guards your going out and your coming in Now and forever. Always, seek the truth…rethink, relearn, return.
