It is so true. The human form of life is meant for self realization....finding out who we are eternally, before we die and have to assume another material body, maybe not even human. Srila Prabhupada tells us that if we divert our energy in any other way than self realization, that it will take us longer to achieve the goal. And self realization doesnt have much to do with selfish goals for mystic powers and gaining power over others for sense gratification. Self realization is kind of like assisting the guru in his mission. Just like in ISKCON, our self realization is to chant our rounds and follow the four regs and then to do practical service all day long for benedicting the entire universe with the nectar of the Holy Name. This is not some capricious idea for befooling innocent people, but to give everyone gradual elevation on the path of back to home, back to Godhead (Krishna), rather than back to sleep. Sleep solves nothing. Hari Hari.
