It is stories like these that make me SO glad I decided to do this crazy wrap thing.. This girl is in my downline group page and I had never even heard this story! What a blessing! I got married when I was 18 years old straight out if high school to my high school sweet heart. I started nursing school in the top 3 of my class. During the beginning of my first semester (we had been married a year) I found out I was pregnant! And like any parents we immediately started deciding what our child would be and that they would have the biggest tree houses and the coolest light up shoes and all of the things our parents werent able to afford when we were little. Two months later my 19 year old husband and father to my baby was killed in a car accident while I was in school. Dreams crushed much? Regardless of that I passed my first semester of nursing with flying colors. My second semester I had my baby two weeks before exams. Apparently I have the really rare thing called Bandls ring which is extremely dangerous for both the baby and mom and they dont know until youre in labor. Surprise! I had to have an emergency c-section and two blood transfusions. And my baby had really bad sugar problems. Nursing? They refused to let me make up any work and my exams were triple weighted. I was told if I didnt take them I would fail anyway. So I slowly made my way into my class because at that point I was still bleeding pretty bad and couldnt move to well. I missed passing, which is a C-80%, by 3 points and unlike they did with everyone the first semester they refused to curve it. Anyway! So I got me a job at OfficeMax and thought I was set. I have been there for almost a year! Great right? A few months ago my friend Kelli started talking about this whole It Works thing and this wrappingmom Facebook page and I was like ok I will do my friendly duty and sign up to buy it a while. And then they sat us beside each other and I started helping her fill out her little blitz cards and helping her promote and eventually I signed up as a distributor. I took a leap of faith. Lucky I did because my hours got cut at work. And we may not have a job at the end of the year. So the question is what has It Works done for me? It Works has given me the ability to buy my baby light up shoes, which sounds stupid but is something that is extremely important to me. And I dont have to worry about my baby having the things I want him to have. Of course I want him to have the luxury of a two parent income and with It Works I can give him that and so much more. God gives and takes away. That much I know. You just have to have blind faith and trust that these opportunities, even the ones that sound crazy, may just be what He has planned for you.
