It is strange that when we ask wage hike. The government talks of profitability. The same government makes banks spend billions and trillions on government sponsored work of nation building. This profitability clause is strangely not applicable to other government sector undertakings like Railways, BSNL, HEC etc. Even they get 300 days of leave en cashment on retirement. If anyone hires an employee, he must give the employee proper salary. We work day and night. It is governments duty to give us proper salary. Our reduced profitability and rising NPAs are due to government policy. We should not be made scapegoat for governments policy.
