It is that time of the year again where I am trying to get sponsors for Palm Coast Little League - Please PM me if you are interested in sponsoring a team or simply doing the banner. I will need the commitment preferably by the end of next week so that I can start assigning the sponsors to the teams and we can get the uniforms ordered by the end of the month. The Palm Coast Little League is a not-for-profit group of volunteers dedicated to encourage, support and instill the values of Little League for the children of Flagler County. From its founding in 1939, Little League Baseball and Softball has kept its goal of helping children develop citizenship, discipline, teamwork, and physical well being through sports. This has been the heritage of the Little League movement, which has established its success in the arena of youth sports. It is through athletics that youngsters learn their own strengths and weaknesses, the meanings of sportsmanship and cooperation, and the qualities that constitute effective leadership. For the Palm Coast Little League to flourish in our community it needs generous people like you. Player registrations are only a fraction of the operating funds needed to ensure a successful season for the youth of our community. We are asking for your support that will give the kids of Flagler County the opportunity to live the Little League Experience. Your generosity helps them realized the Little League Experience by: Giving a child the chance to play ball that might not other-wise be able to participate due to economic hardship. The purchase of new equipment, so our children can play safely. Assisting our youth in developing the qualities of citizenship, discipline, teamwork and physical well-being. A donation for a team sponsorship includes your company or organizations name on a team jersey and a banner displayed at our ball fields. You will be presented a plaque with your teams’ picture in appreciation for your continued support. We encourage all sponsors to come out to the ballgames during the season to be part of the Little League Experience first hand.
