It is the first disease in human history, which kills its caretakers!! Ebola, the most feared, and notorious disease of our time! Its a culmination, and a result of African leaders wickedness, self-centredness, corruption, and a proof of the degree of suffering of the African people, which led to absolute poverty suffered by the African common man, leading them to strive for a possible way of survival, which resulted to the hunting, and literal eating of such despicable games, which include bats, and monkeys- the carriers of such a highly contagious disease , making them quite vulnerable to this lethal infection. Against this backdrop, Ebola, as it were, crept in! First discovered in 1976,in the Democratic republic of Congo, named after a river close to where it was discovered, with several deaths recorded at the time . It suddenly disappeared, then resurfaced during the millenium, spreaded to Guinea, with dozens of deaths recorded. Eventually, it found its way into Sierra Leone, and then Liberia, with sporadic deaths recorded in both countries. Nigeria on the other hand found her name included as one of the affected countries when an infected Liberian man touched down at the international airport in Lagos.He died few days later.Nigeria has reported only two cases of death by this true monster of our time. Hence, it is reffered to as a West African disease! What a stigma! To support this stigma, people in the West African States have been hoaxed by some group of skeptics to bath with salted water, possibly drinking a portion also. This was the morning call today in Nigeria! What a public catastrophic euphoria we bear at the main time, awaiting a potential experimental vaccine to be tested on such a rhesus monkey as Africans by the Americans-who claim to have developed a vaccine from tobbaco , pending an experimental test.
