It is the nature of the strong heart, that like the palm tree it strives ever upwards when it is most burdened. We must walk consciously only part way toward our goal, and then leap in the dark to our success. In the sweetness of friendship let there be laughter, and sharing of pleasures. For in the dew of little things the heart finds its morning and is refreshed. You never know what motivates you. If you fell down yesterday, stand up today. Discipline is the soul of an army. It makes small numbers formidable; procures success to the weak, and esteem to all. Every heart that has beat strongly and cheerfully has left a hopeful impulse behind it in the world, and bettered the tradition of mankind. It is only in sorrow bad weather masters us; in joy we face the storm and defy it. Happiness often sneaks in through a door you didnt know you left open. Theres a certain spiritual nature and something of the mind that we cant measure. We cant find it. With all our sophisticated equipment, we cannot monitor or define it, and yet its there. Wherever you are - be all there. The intellect of the wise is like glass; it admits the light of heaven and reflects it. So long as the memory of certain beloved friends lives in my heart, I shall say that life is good.
