It is the raw, uninvited impulses of fear that seek to immediately claim us when a new challenge appears. As the emotions rise within us like a swelling river, so to our trust in Christ must rise with them - like a boat lifted by their force. Fiercer faith must rise to triumph over screaming emotion - and its not until we have to rise that we do. We may disdain the process, but the result is a powerful soul who has learned to leverage the energies of ones unruly emotions to power ones overcoming faith.
