It is the second night of the super moon and after today taking my horse for a peaceful summer walk up and down the road. She thought she would become ignorant I was beside her when other horses began to talk to her. Bit of punishment for forgetting her manners. Other than that later still on the lead the cattle had to be moved and she just wanted to go em from the back. She has a lot of training work to go through. Especially the one with her manners. Still she started figuring to get a praise she had to do things the right way when on the lead when some of the herd went off in the other direction into the wrong paddock... When some of the cattle which took off in their group in the wrong direction were all back on the road heading towards the right gate. My awesome as horse held her head high and began to race after them.,, Yep running along the road with a pair of gumboots on was a different experience from the old gumboots I used to have when I was a kid. These ones thicker and chunkier. Great for walking through the mud the cattle mucked up at the gate way. Thats the awesome part, The not so awesome part is the new pair is different from my old pair from ages back. The new air holds more mud in its grip. Other than that I dont care fact is I can actually get around the farm as I used to when I was a kid, Plus me steel caps I have owned for more than 3 or 4 years started to give way after all that walking/running/standing/watching look out type of what you do when you got cattle on the farm or sheep and you gotta take a look around to find where one stubborn cow/sheep decided to break out of. Anyways before drifting off. Got the cattle heading back towards the other gate and my horse was running right up behind them head high when they got through the gate she flung her head up giving a snort. It was pretty sweet as awesome. Then shut the gate once the last calf was in and headed with my horse back to the farm yard, Got her groomed with hooves picked coats on in less than 10 minutes Dame cow S**T when picking one of her back hooves out I so missed seeing that whilst I was being rushed when Dad wanted the cattle fed. **sighs** All this after walking the horse up and down the road on the lead and the cattle were being moved straight after I got back and let my horse have a graze of the grass outside of her paddock she is in now. To my horse getting a chance to help with walking behind the cattle she was so enthusiastic she wanted to move them so quick with picking up the pace to a trot trying to canter whilst I am holding her on the lead. To seeing her ears pull back as she gets right up behind the cattle with those teeth she assumes was made for biting if the cattle dont move quick enough. XD priceless. Anyways. After the cattle were fed and I gave my horse a hug before leaving the farm she leaned into me I could feel her old feed bowl behind me yet felt so much loving care and warmth from her as if to say thank you for letting me help today and letting me know when I was losing focus. I am not angry with you for waking me up when I wasnt listening to you. I wasnt sure if I had heard right that I looked over my shoulder from where I had her in a hug as I felt her leaning into my hug I just looked at she wasnt eating the feed I put in there. That I saw a glint in her eye it made such a warm smile and she gave a nod. The amazements :) :D :)
