It is the single most reminisced moment of every believer. The moment you invited Jesus into your heart. For the first time, your sins are forgiven. Your past has been forgotten. The yoke of Christ embraces your neck and, to your amazement, the burden of it is no burden at all. You stand at the threshold of the trailhead and you wonder what is in store. Your canteen is weighted with water. Your pack bulges with promises, one of which is this: a mountain of discovery moves before anyone who has even the slightest faith to respond to Jesus invitation by placing an uncertain boot upon His trail. You check your gear one last time. A boot-string is tightened. A pack strap is adjusted. Your heart races with all the timidity of a novice. A tremor shoots through your leg as the first step is taken. The ground jolts at your feet in response. And so the souljourn begins! Last paragraph of first chapter of THE SOULJOURN.
