It is the young men and women that I have had the privilege to work with and lead over the years who keep me grounded daily; many of whom are right here on FB (one of the primary reasons I keep using FB). This Marine CPT typifies each and every one of them I know, regardless of service. I have no words to describe what I feel and the swelling of emotion within me when I watch this warrior walk and speak; maybe one word - American Pride! I guess its from knowing that this is only one point in time in his life and that of his wifes, but that his and her sacrifices are something they will carry and be reminded of daily from the time they wake up to the time they put their heads to a pillow, like so many other brave Americans most have or will never hear of... This is a MUST WATCH to remind ourselves of the costs of war and the very real people who have the strength to bear the burdens for so many who wont or cant.. Very humble, and very committed, I hope that when I was in full swing as a warrior leader, I was at least half the Officer that this Captain obviously is. Im glad this was on my news feed tonight and right before Thanksgiving... Semper Fi!
