It is time to get back to the Promises of God. We have made it to the promise of the POWER OF HIS WORD! That alone is reason for us to rejoice! When we are not ashamed of the gospel and we are willing to take a stand for God’s word and stand on His word, we always get the victory. Every time I read the word I get new revelation of God’s purpose for me and my life. I gain new strength knowing that I serve the Most High God! The word builds me up where I am torn down, renews my mind, soothes my soul, comforts me, prepares me for spiritual battle, It is my armor, equips me to deal with the troubles and tribulations of this world, teaches me how to love unconditionally, teaches and directs me on forgiveness and prayer, shows me what to expect in the last days, and reveals the promise and power of God’s word in all of our lives if we will submit to His will and His way. The word is filled with wisdom on how to deal with every situation in our lives, even laziness! We are lazy and we take God for granted. As I think about the power of His word and how it has kept me, and brought me into His presence, I am so thankful! I can truly rejoice knowing that the word is hidden in my heart and I can go to it, and draw from it whenever I need to! The word tells us to study to show ourselves approved. King James Bible 2 Timothy 2:15 Study to shew thyself approved unto God, a workman that needeth not to be ashamed, rightly dividing the word of truth. New International Version Do your best to present yourself to God as one approved, a worker who does not need to be ashamed and who correctly handles the word of truth. We can continue to allow the world to define who we are, or we can go to the word and let God tell us who we are! He ministers to us through His word. Are you willing and committed enough to spend time in His word? The word of God bears witness to Jesus Christ (John 5:32) It gives us confirmation, it is our guide our manual for living righteously before God. Glory to His name!
