It is too easy to be preoccupied and focused on the issues of everyday life. We can be blind or deaf to the Spirit of God. We may not be aware that God is trying to get our attention. It is important that we learn to listen to God all of the time. We need to become more sensitive to His voice in order to receive His warnings, His instructions, and His wisdom. Ask God to give you greater spiritual discernment. Ask Him to help you be more sensitive to the many ways He might be speaking to you, remember; He can speak to you at any time of the day or night, even through the most ordinary aspects of life, and even through things that don’t seem to have any obvious spiritual significance. Father, help me to be more sensitive to Your Spirit. Help me to be conscious of Your presence and open to Your leading. Speak to me. Use me for Your Kingdom. In Jesus’ name. Amen.
