It is true. I am being really unfair on unhappy people. Let me clarify that I dont mean people suffering from a mental illness. I dont mean people who hide their unhappiness. When I sat in the cab on the way home, I realised that it is people who are negative and doubting of people who express their happiness who irk me. After having a recent manager tell me I was far too happy for the workplace, the last article I posted may have hit a raw nerve. It took me a long long time and a lot of effort to escape the clinical depression I suffered. That journey made me understand what true unhappiness is and to choose happiness for myself. For the sincerity of that to be challenged makes me defensive. I apologise to anyone I offended. If you want some of my happy, Im selling it by the ounce at a good price :)
