It is true!! NDA has won, NDA has decisively won, Wait.. BJP has won , BJP has decisively won. Each of the above was kind of dream come true and was progressively a bigger dream. So celebrating in steps as the feeling sinks in. After 1984, this is first time a party has got an absolute majority. Unbelievable! It is after 30 years the nation has decided to move away from the fractured mandate. Time for introspection for all - BJP - Now you have won, no dependency on allies, so that excuse is not there any more. It is kind of feeling you have on Sunday afternoon when Monday morning is kind of looming large on the horizon. So fasten your seat belt. Umpteen challenges and the road is not so smooth. Congress - DO they really see that a family cannot rule and a party cannot be held hostage to the whims of a kitchen cabinet using somebody elses shoulders to run the government. Dr Singh, farewell to you as a scholarly PM, but nation had expected a lot from you as an individual and as a leader. In your free time, try coming to terms with your own conscience. AAP - Zero to Hero to Zero (OK , 4) - There is no place for negative politics. It is good to criticize, but criticism only is no better than whining. Do not expect mountains on the basis of 2 and half rallies and 100 days of protests and 49 days of free ride to governance. Show some maturity. Especially AAP volunteers - every Kejri-talk should not be taken as gospel and not every dharna or camping on street should be taken as a heroic act. Responsibility, maturity, vision (multi-faceted and not just that sab chor hain and sirf hum 3 log imaandaar hain.) But I will say a good number of people still have trust which is clear from their 2nd place in all seats in delhi and 4 seat victory in Punjab. Akali - I think it was a good lesson for the party too in Punjab, I hope rise of AAP in Punjab makes them rethink about their policies, governance and corruption-free administration. Other regional leaders - Nitish, Maya, Mulayam, Farukh - sidelined, a good lesson for them too. Mamta - Still riding a wave of anti-left consolidation in Bengal, Bandi mein hai dum, lekin governance mein thoda kam.. BJP makes impressive gains in Bengal too with 17% votes. Now they need a dynamic leadership too . Indian Electorate - Congratulations as you voted for development and good governance this time. - more to come....
