It is true, and I can show you many more studies and articles along with this one. Dont do it. Dont encourage it. Dont ignore it when others do it. This is not the case of wrongfully correcting a parent in their practices. This is preventing (and sometimes intervening) child abuse. I have no patience for it, and I will stop someone if they do it in my presence. I would much rather they hit me than a child. Please, for the sake of children, join me. *steps off soap box*
