It is truly amazing to me to think about all of the beautiful ideas, sentences, paragraphs, and articles written by people moved by music, art and community that we have featured on LostinSound.org thus far. It seems like each time I blink we are graced by the heart work of another listener, fan or creator with something to convey to the world. I love when an interview with one of my favorite artists is posted or a review of a festival Ive always wanted to attend goes up on the site. As much as I wish I could write about everything that interests me, I am reassured to know that one of our contributors will probably show me whats up. It really is like a dream fulfilled to be able to provide an outlet for people all over the world to prepare a piece as they visualize it. For me, everyday with this team and organization is worth hours in a classroom. I love knowing that this tiny music sharing blog between show friends has bloomed into a revered media and editorial hub allowing people like me the opportunity to contribute to The Subculture that they believe deeply in. Soon these opportunities for those interested and inspired will broaden as LIS enhances our website, allowing for more content than ever. Excitement is rising on my end, and I cant wait for this next level.
