It is truly sad news out of Syria, with children killed in their sleep, apparently by the hundreds. Then the unrest in Egypt, and the way the "Arab Spring" toppled long standing governments, many of which deserved to be removed. I guess my question is this....How long until it reaches our shores. We have a population armed to the teeth, and an ineffectual Congress with a 12% approval rating. The bitter partisan divide shows no signs of abating, but instead only becomes more and more, the expected norm. I am convinced it is only the grace of God that keeps this nation from dissolving into the chaos sweeping the planet. Think what you will, but when the Grace of God is scorned and rejected by men, the result is not going to peace, but growing destruction of what was once thought to be unshakable. Your own salvation will be found in simply calling upon Jesus Christ. He is faithful to deliver you from what is coming, and has already started. Unless you have spent your life living under a rock, you know exactly what I am talking about.
